What is the difference between 1-ply and 2-ply tissue?
Ply is the number of sheets bonded together. Two plies give more bulk, softness and absorbency per sheet, which is why 2-ply is preferred for hotels and premium retail, while 1-ply is the economical choice for high-volume counters.
